What is SAFOR?
SAFOR is a reliable application to ensure your personal safety using your smartphone 24 hours a day. The application can be used in case of threats to health, life or emergency situations.
In case of emergency, simply press the button on the screen of your smartphone to send an alert signal to all nearby emergency crews. The app will automatically detect your current location and rush the nearest emergency crew to you. -
Where can I find subscription prices?
You can find all subscription prices at our website. Price for month – 420 UAH, three months – 990 UAH, yearly subscription – 2990 UAH.

Who is supposed to arrive in response to my alert signal?
The Security Police is the only security structure in Ukraine whose employees have the rights and powers defined by law on armed protection and the application of appropriate sanctions against offenders. The Security Police officially provides services to protect the property rights and legitimate interests of Ukrainian citizens, including the protection of their lives and health.

Where can I use the app?
You can use this app throughout the territory of Ukraine. The app cannot be used at mass gatherings, such as football matches or live events and concerts, where we are unable to locate the alert source in due time.

How do I edit my email address?
To perform this action, you need to go to the “Menu” of the program and in the “Subscriptions” you can edit your e-mail address.

How do I make an emergency alert?
After the registration and payment have been completed, you may press the button on the main screen of the application that will trigger an emergency alert.
You may reconfigure how you will interact with the main screen to make an alert: a single tap, a long press, a double tap (will be soon).

Can the application be installed on any phone?
The application works on iOS and Android. Please go to the Apple Store or Google Play and make sure your smartphone supports the current version of the app.

Why should I have to fill in my personal information in the profile section?
This may help the emergency crew to find and identify you faster.

Why do I have to upload scans of my documents when registering for the tariff plan?
We will request verification if there is a suspicion of inaccurate data uploading, that may cause untimely assistance and as a result of a threat to life or health.

Why should I fill in the details of my places of residence and work?
In an urban environment, this information will help reduce the time to search for a signal source. If you are home at the time of the alert, the information provided about your home location will serve as a starting point in your search by the emergency crew.

How do I change my profile information?
Profile editing is only possible upon request for support service.

How long should it take for an emergency crew to arrive at an alert site?
The emergency crew will arrive within a shortest possible time – on combat alert.

How do I install the application?
To install the SAFOR app, download it from the App Store or Google Play. You may also use the download link on our website.

How do I start using the application?
Once you have downloaded and installed the app, you will be prompted to sign up. After verification that may take up to 24 hours, you will be able to use the application.

If I do not have Internet access, can I use the application?
Yes, Android and iOS users may trigger an alert using an SMS, if they have no Internet access. In a semi-automatic mode, you will be asked to send an SMS with your location coordinates, which will be equivalent to making an emergency alert. Please ensure beforehand that your cell operator balance is sufficient for sending an SMS across Ukraine.

How do I set up the voice control for the app?
For iOS devices, please use the Siri voice assistant to personalize voice commands.

You may preset how you will interact with the app’s main screen to make an emergency alert: a short press, a long press or double tap. -
How will the application determine my location?
SAFOR determines the user’s location, based on the smartphone coordinates of the GPS signal and the nearest Wi-Fi networks, if the user has connection to them.

When can I make an emergency alert?
If your health or property could be in jeopardy.

Is there a charge for a false emergency alert?
Yes. If the emergency crew finds out that the alert was made without a proper reason or out of curiosity, it will be considered false. Should repetitive false alerts occur, you may be subjected to paying a fine.

Can I cancel the emergency alert?
No, if you have triggered an alert, you cannot undo the emergency sequence. If you want to test how the service works, you may make a test call after registration.

My location cannot be determined, what should I do?
Make sure the application is allowed to use your location data in phone settings.

In case an emergency alert is triggered via SMS, how much will it cost?
SMS rates are applicable in accordance with your current mobile operator plan.

Is a false alert possible?
When making an alert, your health or property are not subjected to any danger, this alert is considered as false. False alerts are paid for as regular emergency alerts. Should more than 3 false alerts occur within 30 days, all subsequent false alerts within a calendar month will cost 5 times the normal rate.

What is a test call?
Test call gives you the opportunity to test the application in an emergency call situation without the need for an emergency crew to rush to your test call site.

What may prevent me from making an emergency alert?
Most of the reasons why an emergency call cannot be made will be displayed on the main screen: disabled location, out of range, unpaid subscription. You may as well contact our support team.

What data are accessible to my “Family” contacts?
You may choose which of your contacts may be shared your smartphone’s battery level,location, or emergency alerts.

Can I disable emergency alert contact sharing?
Yes, to do this, in the app’s Family section, select a contact and turn off Share with contact.

Who is the SAFOR mobile application made for?
The application may be used by any citizen of Ukraine and who has come of age.
